Summary :
Our growing client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager will focus on revenue, the general ledger, and manage a team. The company offers a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities :
Oversee personnel, conducting performance reviews, goal setting, and training.
Handle month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and revenue P&L review meetings.
Lead sales reporting and balance sheet review meetings.
Review GAAP pronouncements, develop accounting policies, and participate in external audits.
Interpret accounting implications of contracts and assist in financial statement preparation.
Collaborate with other departments as needed for financial reporting and analysis.
Manage AR incentive programs and standardize billing and collection across brands.
Assist in various special projects for Revenue & Accounts Receivable Director or management.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and five years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
CPA strongly preferred, with a mix of Big 4 or national public accounting and industry experience.
Proficient in MS Office, advanced Excel skills, and large ERP systems.
Experience with business intelligence/financial analytics software preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
Prefer experience in establishing and maintaining internal controls.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
