They are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for a full-time position. Details below:

    • Location: Sioux Falls, SD
    • Salary: $80,000-$115,000


    Financial Reporting Manager Role:
    The Financial Reporting Manager oversees and standardizes processes and policies concerning financial reporting, accounting, audits, and tax compliance for health plans. Responsibilities include ensuring quality financial statement preparation, statutory reporting, and management reporting. This role collaborates closely with the Director of Financial Reporting and accounting team to deliver financial services and serves as the main financial advisor for supported areas. Additionally, this position leads financial integration optimization for health plans.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Act as the Lead Finance professional for all departments, providing regular reports on current operations results
    • Manage monthly accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation and reporting packages
    • Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory statements and ensure timely filing
    • Review conversions from statutory to GAAP accounting principles
    • Support internal control environment and assist with audits
    • Develop procedures for day-to-day finance tasks
    • Coordinate financial team efforts for system upgrades


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
    • CPA certification required within 18 months of hire
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
