Essential Job Functions:


  • Maintain manager and employee confidence by keeping all HR related information confidential.
  • Follow recruitment process for exempt, nonexempt employee, and interns using industry standards for recruiting and best practices for hiring a high performing workforce.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes with HR Director when personnel vacancies are identified.
  • Coordinate and manage new employee onboarding processes along with HR Generalist.
  • Coordinate and manage the internship program process.
  • Assist with rolling new company initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with HR team to improve employment branding across all recruitment sites.
  • Maintain employee personnel files in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations to include auditing HR files.
  • Perform license checks for required clinical staff.
  • Provide regulatory with required new hire documents.
  • Manage purging of outdated employee files.
  • Coordinate employee related event planning including employee morale boosters and "sunshine" events.
  • Perform required employee background checks.
  • Protects the interests of both the employees and the company in accordance with Segal Trials' HR policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Independently displays a passion to learn and innovate and maintains knowledge of industry development through personal readings and individual training.
  • Able to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Solicits & responds positively to direction & constructive criticism from managers and peers.

Requirements:


  • 2 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
