Description

Our client, a renowned pharmaceutical company in southern Germany, is looking for an experienced Head of Manufacturing (m/f/d) to drive the growth of internal production capacities and excellence in the production of innovative medicines.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, decision-making, implementation, and control of work processes with the goal of GMP-compliant, safe, and cost-efficient production of pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and adherence to Annex 1 and current occupational safety guidelines.
  • Leading and continuously training manufacturing personnel to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Ensuring smooth collaboration with other internal departments such as Supply Chain Management and R&D.
  • Initiating and implementing investment projects and capacity adjustments within the manufacturing department.
  • Continuously conducting process optimizations to increase efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or technician degree in engineering, production technology, pharmaceutical technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and in a managerial position.
  • Experience dealing with authorities and in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
