    We're Hiring Our key client is hiring and looking to add a Network Operations Analyst to their team. Please check the description below and reach out to us for more details if you are interested.

    Pay Rate: $35.37/hour. on W2

    Work Type: Onsite – Houston, TX 77002

    Duration: 7-month contract (with possible extension)

    Job Overview:

    • The Network Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the organization's network infrastructure.
    • This role works closely with the IT operations team to ensure critical network systems and services' availability, security, and performance.
    • The Network Operations Analyst proactively identifies and resolves network-related issues to minimize disruptions and maintain service level agreements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and event logs to identify potential problems.
    • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, security patching, and backups on network devices.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software-related issues on routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
    • Implement and test network failover, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
    • Collaborate with server, security, and application teams to ensure end-to-end system health.
    • Document network configurations, change management processes, and operational procedures.
    • Maintain accurate network inventory records and asset management information.
    • Analyze network metrics and trends to identify optimization opportunities and make recommendations.
    • Provide on-call support and after-hours incident response as needed.
    • Participate in the design and implementation of new network architectures and technologies.
    • Assist in the development of network-related policies, standards, and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in network administration, operations, or IT support roles.
    • In-depth knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and technologies (e.g., LAN, WAN, switching, routing).
    • Proficient in administering and troubleshooting common enterprise network services and security solutions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Experience with network monitoring, automation, and scripting tools (e.g., Cisco, Wireshark, Python).
    • Understanding of server, storage, and IT security best practices related to network infrastructure.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Certification in network-related technologies (e.g., Cisco, CompTIA) is preferred.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 IT operations environment
