Description

Responsible for all duties associated with medical office/physician billing to include but not limited to assisting with coding, reporting, processing new charges through the claims system, accounts receivable, audits, monitoring denials and filing any necessary appeals, maintain competency in understanding authorizations and the referral process, prepare variance reports, and understand the collections process.

Maintain a professional demeanor, especially when communicating with physicians, patients, insurance companies, other provider offices, and the general public.
