For our client, a leading company in its industry worldwide with approximately 1200 employees, we are looking for an Accounting Specialist (m/f/d).


Responsibilities:

  • Booking and posting of business transactions with a focus on accounts receivable accounting
  • Reconciliation and exchange of information with sales teams
  • Monitoring of open items and implementation of dunning procedures
  • Maintenance, reconciliation and clarification of accounts
  • Participation in the preparation of monthly reports and annual financial statements
  • Participation in internal projects (digitalization, conversion to SAP S/4 HANA)
  • Temporary representation in accounts payable accounting, including management and execution of payment transactions
  • Possible assumption of the SAP key user function

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed commercial training and/or a degree with a focus on accounting
  • Professional experience (at least 3 years) in finance and accounting in an international environment
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP R/3 FI (SD, PS and MM desirable) and proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Enjoyment of project work and improving internal processes
  • Proactive, independent working style and team spirit
