Description

General job duties.

Starting IVs and performing CT scans. Types of procedures required. All types of general CT scanning.

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. All the equipment is GE. EPIC McKesson PACS
Required skills and minimum years of experience.

Previous travel experience, previous Level 1 trauma experience, GE equipment experience

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
ARRT (CT) IEMA BLS
Shift or schedule requirements.

No the Employee will not be working alone but will be mínimal staffed so must be able to think on their own and be able to scan with mínimal assistance.

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.

OSF Saint Francis Medical Center has 640 beds. We have 5 CT scanners in operation.

Dress Code:
Normal scrubs

Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.

Orientation to Radiology department and specific to CT space. Training on one or two of the CT scanners in the department. Workflow and scanning protocols.
