WHO ARE WE
L'Avant-Garde is a luxurious French restaurant. With our renowned Chef Sebastien Giannini, L'Avant-Garde is a DC hospitality landmark. Located in Georgetown, we are open for dinner only and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role for +2 years
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
