Description

Tribeca Venue IT Staff are members of the IT Operations department, assisting the IT Ops Manager in deployment and support of equipment and local area networks at multiple festival screening venues.

Expectations
familiarity with Windows, OSX, and iOS
familiarity with command line tools to identify and troubleshoot network problems
familiarity with rudimentary principles of IT network design
familiarity with LAN/WLAN/WAN network configuration
familiarity with Ethernet / Cat5 cabling and termination standards
comfortable moving quickly between and among multiple venues on short notice
comfortable working in confined spaces while on hands and knees
comfortable working on a 25 ft ladder
comfortable carrying a 40 lbs load

Requirements:

BYO laptop
availability 7 days/week
travel time to Chelsea and Tribeca locations no more than 30 minutes

Responsibilities
at screening venues (AMC 19th, Village East, SVA, Spring Studios, and BMCC)
assisting with load-in / breakdown of W/LAN
assisting with load-in / breakdown of ticketing POS stations
network troubleshooting (connectivity, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
infrastructure troubleshooting (patch cable swap, Ethernet cable repair)
onsite and/or remote network support for various festival clients"
