Description

The municipality of Grebenhain is currently seeking a full-time employee (m/f/d) for the construction yard to start as soon as possible. The employment relationship is based on the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance, upkeep, and repair of public roads, paths, buildings, playgrounds, green spaces, cemetery facilities, and other municipal facilities
  • Technical work in organizing and carrying out events
  • Road and civil engineering work (especially in the context of repair work on roads and sidewalks, road inlets, inspection shafts, and pipelines)
  • Water maintenance work
  • Operation of construction machinery and equipment, especially excavators and wheel loaders
  • Maintenance, servicing, repair, and preservation of work equipment
  • Assistance with all tasks of the construction yard, including winter service - with work on weekends, holidays, and at night

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training in a construction or craft profession, preferably in the areas of building construction, civil engineering, or road maintenance
  • Driver's licenses for cars/vans/trucks with corresponding driving experience
