- Administer Product Service Orders in the Epicor system on a timely and accurate basis.
- Estimate work to be done and related costs on Customer guns received for evaluation.
- Advise customers of problem and prepare estimates.
- Recommend options to customers for repair items.
- Responsible for coordinating all mail and telephone inquiries from repair customers and other outside sources.
- Expedite the processing and delivery of all Product Service orders.
- Work extensively with Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Colt Custom Shop and customers to resolve all Product Service-related problems.
- Responsible for shipping and receiving activities for product service.
- Receives customer correspondence on all returned products. Inspects these products and determines whether each return is to be repaired on a charge or no-charge basis.
- Requisitions all spare parts required by department.
- Responsible for the shipping and receiving of Product service department.
- Prepare and coordinate Purchase Orders for repairs/materials.
- Estimate and process repair requirements for returns.
- Advise customers on repair status.
- Maintain paid repair file including coordination of payments.
- Other duties as assigned.

We are currently in search of a Product Service Specialist to perform the following duties:
Extensive knowledge of all firearms, from manufacturing to repair. Knowledge or ability to learn Customer Inspection/Test requirements when needed. Experience with firearms (modern and antique models), firearms nomenclature, and quote preparation. Good written and oral skills, and customer service. Ability to make decisions daily relating to estimating age, condition, diagnosis, and repair procedures for defective firearms.
