- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize engineering operations and enhance overall efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and renovation of the property's infrastructure and systems.
- Manage the engineering team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to drive excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering services.
- Implement sustainable and eco-friendly initiatives to promote energy conservation.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and exceptional service delivery.
- Previous experience as a Director required, multi property experience preferred
- Hotel, institutional, HVAC systems experience of 3-5 years
- Refrigeration, HVAC certification
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety systems, preventative maintenance systems etc
- Budget management, cost control and financial responsibility experience with stationary engineering licensed preferred Valid Drivers license
- Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members, bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
