4ocean is on a mission to save the worlds oceans, and we are looking for an Inventory Supervisor to help us advance our cause. ***The Role***

Based at our Distribution Center (DC), which is in Deerfield Beach, FL, you will report to our DC Manager who has a ton of great experience working with very large and well-known consumer brand companies.

You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth & success of our business by both running inventory on the floor as well as analyzing inventory data from a wide variety of databases and related source systems.

Establish and execute daily activities, as well as policies and procedures to ensure inventory accuracy in the warehouse & distribution system

Responsible for supervising the daily activities of the inventory control crew members and working with other supervisors to keep the DC running smoothly

Analyze inventory discrepancies and report inaccuracies to appropriate departments for corrective action to prevent future occurrences

Verify 4ocean processes/systems are correctly executing the back-flush of all materials, packaging, and subassemblies to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained and report any issues to the appropriate department

Maintain and update WMS/inventory system. Maintain and improve the 4ocean inventory application data by analyzing inventory statistics and updating application requirements

Manage inventory controls of all 4ocean raw materials and finished goods to ensure that product availability meets customer demand

Analyze current inventory levels, monitor inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting

Advise Distribution Center Crew on inventory requirements and regular inventory counts

Draft inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data

Report inventory statistics to leadership while suggesting improvements to inventory control

Resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue alongside the Distribution Center crew

***Qualifications***

This is a highly technical, hands-on position which requires at least 2 (two) years of recent and applicable experience in accounting, inventory and data analytics. If that sounds like you and you are passionate about cleaner oceans, then wed love to hear from you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, a related field or commensurate with experience

Experience with supply chain applications, databases and inventory accounting practices

Advanced level MS Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills w/ excellent attention to detail

Forklift experience

Able to work a flexible schedule

Experience in inventory control best practices and managing inventory

Strong team leadership and skills development experience

Time management expertise with amazing multi-tasking skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with various levels of leadership within the organization

A positive, can do attitude and an excellent sense of humor

Comfort in a fast-paced, always changing start-up environment
