What to expect

Leading a team of six employees both professionally and disciplinarily
Managing and developing the information networks (IT pipes, fiber optic and telecommunications cables) and telecommunications technology of Stadtwerke Jena Netze, including budget responsibility
Developing goals, strategies, and project guidelines, as well as monitoring technical developments related to information networks and telecommunications technology
Marketing the IT networks, including cost calculation and proposal creation, contract design and monitoring, billing, and customer service
Participating in on-call duty

What you bring

Completed technical university degree in information/telecommunications technology, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
Extensive experience in operating, maintaining, and managing information networks, transmission, and telecommunications technology
In-depth knowledge of legal requirements, safety regulations, and relevant standards in the area of responsibility
Solid understanding
