About this Role:
Are you a dynamic individual with a knack for maximizing the value of direct-sold online advertising campaigns, in a pre-sales capacity? Join our team as a Sales Planner on the Revenue Operations team In this role, you'll be the driving force behind crafting and optimizing direct-sold ad campaigns, providing top-notch support and strategic guidance to help bring in those deals.
We're seeking someone with a background in media planning who thrives on building strong relationships with partners, ensuring flawless campaign executions, and surpassing revenue goals.

You Will
:
- Respond to agency/client RFPs by building digital media plans and assist with pitch decks if needed.
- Liaise with our Research department to build sales 'data stories' for clients
- Educate agencies and clients to evangelize Fandom and our offerings
- Partner with Sales to understand client objectives, strategies and goals; provide strategic guidance on ad product selection, pricing, and internal requirements
- Build Internal and External (Agency Template) media plans
- Use Google Ad Manager to forecast avails for media plans (video/display on desktop/mobile)
- Experienced with 3rd party, rich media, and Verification vendors(DCM, Sizmek, Double Verify, etc.), and Data Management Platforms(Krux, Lotame, BlueKai, Permutive, Audigent, etc.)
- Utilize third party IO/client order management tools (Prisma, MediaVisor, Atlas, Operative)
- Maintain Booster deal flags for specific sales initiatives
- Book sold deal into our OMS (Boostr)
- Participate in internal and external client calls during the presale and pre to postsale transition
- Understand what products to include on the media plan
- Educating the AM on what was sold to the client
- Working cross functional with Custom Solutions & Sales Marketing on bestinclass G2M product positioning
- Tagteaming on sales calls for custom activations or deeper product Q&A
- Oncall support may be required for afterhours clientrelated emergencies
You Have
:
- 35 years of experience
- Related media or sales planning experience
- Experience with campaign booking tools and ad servers (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Operative, Boostr, Prisma, etc.)
- Experienced in a client facing role (Client Services, Sales/Planning, or Account/Project Management)
- Extremely proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of online advertising industry, trends, technologies, pricing models and ad campaign metrics; CPM, CPA, Viewability, VCR, IVT, Brand Safety
- Experienced with 3rd party, rich media, and Verification vendors (DCM, Sizmek, Double Verify, etc.), and Data Management Platforms (Krux, Lotame, BlueKai, Permutive, Audigent, etc.)
