    We are excited to hire one of our first Success and Wellness Coaches in Lehi, Utah to help us achieve our mission of providing the most personalized DNA-based fitness plan to help people hit their goals.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provide Customer Support via multiple communication channels through key parts of the Alter experience, including:

    • Daily Workouts & Recovery as informed by DNA and biometrics
    • Sleep data that helps optimize recovery to achieve fitness goals
    • Coaching members on our strength, cardio and work-in modalities
    • DNA-based nutrition insights and plans
    • Stress Management though breathwork and meditation
    • Alter App and System technical support
    • Alter achievement credit and billing questions
    • Answer incoming customer phone calls as well as emails, live chat and SMS as needed
    • Review customer questions; providing guidance or escalating to other teams as appropriate
    • Provide thoughtful feedback to leadership on how to improve our customer experience

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • 1+ years of experience in personal fitness coaching, nutritional coaching or related fields
    • Certification from Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (Certified Professional Trainer or Certified Nutrition Coach) and/or National Academy of Sports Medicine preferred
    • 1+ years of customer service and contact center experience
    • Assertive self-starter with a strong work ethic who can gets things done within a strict time frame
    • Highly organized and able to work independently while taking ownership to delight our customers
    • Ability to articulate technical concepts/requirements clearly and succinctly with thoughtful, professional verbal and written skills with a dedication to putting customers first
    • Analytical and detail oriented
    • Quick-thinker, fast learner, problem solver
    • Comfortable in a fast moving startup environment that is rooted in an exceptional customer experience and profitability.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent completed or in progress
    • Experience with the following platforms Salesforce Service Cloud, TalkDesk, Twilio, Sigma, Shopify, NetSuite, FedEx, UPS, and USPS
