Job Summary

KAVKAZ Express LLC is looking for an
experienced **Fleet Manager to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plan, direct, and manage the programs for utilization, maintenance, repair and replacement of fleet
Coordinate, supervise and participate in the repair and servicing of the fleet (preventive maintenance plan, such as oil change schedule, etc.)
Schedule maintenance of vehicles, comply with driving regulations
Address all driver issues and questions as quickly as possible
Respond to inquiries regarding trailer rentals
Install Logbooks
Prepare reports detailing the effectiveness of the fleet
Search system for registration and inspection information for drivers
Call customers to collect past due payments for parking lot spaces
Release and return the company equipment to and from our customers
Oversee the office in Gary, IN; travel twice a week to meet with the drivers and staff
Other related duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills:

High school diploma; Associates or Bachelor Degree is preferred
2+ years of proven experience in fleet maintenance or operations in the trucking company
Valid CDL A is preferred
Over the road driving experience is preferred
Must know truck and trailer components
Must have previous experience working and managing staff within the trucking industry
Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, company policies and procedures
Excellent planning and leadership abilities
An eye for detail
Computer savvy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to excellent customer service
Ability to work well independently and within a team in a fastpaced and deadlineoriented environment
A proven leader and team player, dependable, consistent, and reliable
