The FSD Fahrzeugsystemdaten GmbH is responsible for the development of innovative technologies for testing modern and future vehicle systems as the central authority according to the StVG of the Federal Republic of Germany.

We are currently looking for a Software Developer for Vehicle Communication / Diagnostic Test Systems (m/f/d) for our Mechatronics department in Clarksville.

Your responsibilities:

Contributing to the future main inspection of vehicles
Integrating the latest technologies in vehicle communication
Developing tools for effective and efficient testing of vehicles at official testing organizations
Specific tasks include:
- Developing libraries for our main inspection adapter for communication between vehicle and user software
- Developing tools for administration, error analysis, and testing of the main inspection adapter
- Developing and integrating new features into the components for vehicle diagnostics with the main inspection adapter

Your qualifications:

Completed degree in computer science, IT specialist for application development, or professional experience in software development
Knowledge of C# programming with unit tests
Proficiency in Visual Studio
Knowledge of network technologies and protocols is desirable
Experience with source code management tools (e.g. GitLab)
