Description
The Medical Assistant (MA)-Back Office is accountable for basic clerical and technical supportive services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed physician, surgeon, or other licensed health professional.
The incumbent functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe and efficient patient care while maintaining high customer service standards.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of six (6) months working in a healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- BLS
- Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
POSITION DETAILS:
- Fulltime, 80 hours per pay period. Day shifts
PAY RANGE:
- $ $31.10
