Responsibilities:

As an Event Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' events and premises


Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining safety protocols while remaining vigilant during patrols and securing the premises.
  • Collaborating with your team to provide security coverage for events in the City of Industry and potentially other surrounding areas.
  • Availability to work weekends and cover day and swing shifts as required.
  • Performing various security officer duties as specified by contract requirements and sitespecific post orders.
  • Responsibilities may encompass access control for guests and customers, enforcement of client and company policies and procedures, and observation and reporting of fire and safety hazards.
  • Conducting routine foot patrols in and around buildings to deter security breaches and ensure a safe environment.
  • Promptly reporting all issues and incidents to the operations manager and clients.

Qualifications:


  • A valid guard card is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle various situations with a customer serviceoriented mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.

Pay:
From $19.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • On call
  • Overnight shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

Event Security: 1 year (preferred)


License/Certification:

  • Guard Card (required)
  • 40 hours BSIS training certificates (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Night Shift (preferred)
  • Day Shift (preferred)
