Job Summary:

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assesses, diagnoses, develops treatment plans and treats patients with language, speech, and swallowing disorders. The SLP monitors patients' progress and documents.

Essential Functions

Performing assessment, diagnoses, and developing treatment plans for language and swallowing disorders.
Conduct tests to discover voice, speech, and swallowing abnormalities.
Provide information to patients and families regarding speech difficulties and their causes,
Keep meticulous records of patient symptoms, treatment plans, therapies and progress. motivating patients

Key Competencies (Knowledge, skills, abilities

Speech Language Pathology skills and knowledge.

Team Work
Communication skills (verbal and written)
Required Education :Master's degree in speech language pathology, speech therapy or equivalent.
1 – 3 years speech therapy Hospital experience preferred
Speech Language Pathologist license in state (BLS) certification
MEDIUM WORK: Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or 10 lbs. constantly
