- Review and interpret physician prescriptions to prepare and dispense medications to patients.
- Monitor patients drug therapies and provide consultation to ensure effective and safe medication use.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding drug administration and control.
- Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration and side effects.
- Manage drug inventory and maintain records in accordance with established policies.
- Support and adhere to infection control policies and protocols.
- Monday Friday: 8:00am 4:30pm or 8:30am 5:00pm
- Home Infusion or inpatient hospital experience.
- Experience working with IV compounding required.
- Previous experience with a parenteral drug therapy admixture program and some clinical monitoring experience are preferred.
- MI Pharmacist license.
