    Description

    Home Instead is looking for Live-In Caregivers with weekend availability to join our team Enjoy paid training, a flexible schedule, and 24/7 office support while providing care for a senior in their home.


    Live-In Caregivers stay with their clients for 2-4 days at a time.


    You will have a client within the following suburbs: Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, Itasca, Streamwood, Bensenville, and Wood Dale.


    Care Professional Job Requirements:

    • Weekend availability
    • Possess a valid driver's license or state ID
    • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
    • Must be able to speak and understand English
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
    • Incontinence experience required
    • Shower / bathing experience required
    • Gait belt experience required
    • Hoyer lift experience a plus (paid training available)
    • Duties include, but are not limited to:
      Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
    • Medication and appointment reminders
    • Assistance with grooming and bathing
    • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
    • Assistance with transferring and mobility
    • Alzheimer's Care
