Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in our community.
As a Babysitter/Nanny, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and engagement of the children under your care.
This is position that has opportunities in San Francisco (city) only.Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children ranging from infants to preschool-aged
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Assist with basic household tasks related to childcare, such as tidying up play areas and washing dishes used during mealtime
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, including nap times, bedtime routines, and disciplinary guidelines
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or childcare roles, such as babysitting, daycare, or preschool settings
- Ability to interact positively with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of ageappropriate developmental milestones and activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both children and parents
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and responsibly
Skills:
- Caregiving:_ Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care for children
- Experience with children_: Previous experience working with children in a professional or personal capacity
- Meal preparation:_ Proficiency in preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children
- Childcare: _Knowledge of best practices in childcare and child development
- Toddler care_: Ability to meet the unique needs of toddlers, including toilet training and ageappropriate activities
- Babysitting_: Familiarity with the responsibilities and expectations of a babysitter/nanny role
Pay:
$ $25.50 per hour
