The E-Trading Risk Management (ETRM) team continues to grow as does the group's remit within the Risk organization.ETRM covers all E-Trading activities across the firm with most of that activity centred in Citi's Markets trading businesses (FX, Equities, Rates, Spread Products and Futures).
Working under the direction of and reporting to the ETRM Tech & Enterprise Lead, this position will be responsible for driving the continued development of ETRM's usage of E-Trading related Data.
This includes both Internal and External sources, with the long-term aim of incorporating a data-driven approach into everyday E-Trading risk decision making, thereby supporting the delivery of strategic data analytics targets for the team.
Practically, this means enhancing independent oversight of E-Trading activities across Citi, providing transparency into areas such as Control Calibration and Market Liquidity patterns amongst others.
Responsibilities:
- Work across relevant 1LOD Business / Technology / Quant teams and 2LOD Risk functions to build systematic access to data required to enhance independent oversight of E-Trading activities
- Support the Implementation of a data driven approach to enhance Citi's E-Trading Risk governance and identifying opportunities to strengthen the control framework
- Assist with the initiatives to incorporate the use of trading / control data to support regular reviews of E-Trading activities and support 2LOD risk decision making
- Deliver valueadd insight and communications on relevant Internal and External data to stakeholders across Risk and E-Trading businesses
- Play an active role in evolving the responses to and usage of AI / ML within E-Trading and the ETRM function as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and competence in portraying complex content in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior management and other stakeholders to successfully implement and deliver change
- Proficiency with Computer programming is essential (common relevant languages include R, Python, Java)
- Ability to manage complex projects and deliver sustainable, scalable solutions to facilitate growth in usage of Data within ETRM
- Knowledge of financial products with an understanding of Market Liquidity desirable
- Knowledge and experience of wider Data Science concepts, including Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning desirable
