Qualifications:

Education:
Minimum qualification to be recognized as a Clinical Laboratory
Technologist.

Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology from accredited College or University and
4 years of pertinent Laboratory experience.

License/Certifications:
Must have current New York State Education Department
Office of Professions Licensure Registration Certificate as a Clinical
Laboratory Technologist. a ASCP Certification preferred.

Experience:
The position of 2nd/3rd shift Laboratory Supervisor requires a
broad

based knowledge of Laboratory practices through formal training. Progressive

management experience preferred. Four years Laboratory experience, as a
generalist with competency in all Laboratory departments. One year of
Supervisory experience preferred.

Summary:
The Laboratory Second/Third shift Supervisor requires a
broad based knowledge of all Laboratory departments as a generalist and
previous Supervisory experience preferred.
Staff training through formal training in the Clinical Laboratory setting.
Supervisor will oversee and direct all patient care laboratory services on the
evening and night shifts. This Supervisor will oversee Specimen processing,
Phlebotomy and all Technical staff on second the third shift
in a cost effective, patient orientated manner.

Salary Range:
$ $39.64
