Description
The Dermatology Tech will be expected to work in a high volume fast paced environment. The position will be working directly with physicians and PA's and scribing for them. Other duties will be assisting patients in obtaining specialty medications.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an acceptable Medical Assistant Certification Training Program. Certification through a Board approved agency is preferred; i.e. American Association of Medical Assistants (AMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CMAA), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Note:

Those who have graduated from an EMT program may also be considered.- Current CPR certification/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or dually certified in both AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support and AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support at time of hire is required and non negotiable.
