In an exclusive mandate, we, as a personnel consultancy, are looking for a permanent and full-time Area Manager R&D and Engineering (m/f/d) on behalf of our client in the metropolitan region of Hamburg/Schleswig Holstein.

Detailed responsibilities:


  • Management of the research and development department and all engineering functions
  • Personnel responsibility for mechanical and electrical design, software, documentation, and CAD administration with four direct reports
  • Responsibility for budget and resource planning in terms of meeting deadlines, cost targets, and quality goals
  • Implementation of product innovations and further development of machine functions within the scope of application engineering
  • Standardization and modularization of the product landscape
  • Ensuring resources for project execution and smooth operations in the research and development department, as well as implementing corresponding measures
