- Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with steel suppliers while negotiating favorable contracts.
- Use Fishbowl software to optimize inventory levels, preventing shortages and overstock situations.
- Analyze procurement costs using Fishbowl data for insights and budgeting.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure procured materials meet standards.
- Address supply chain risks, including disruptions and price fluctuations.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to industry regulations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement (Purchasing, Sourcing, Contract Negotiation, Category Management, Supplier Management)
- Experience using Inventory management software, specifically Fishbowl.
- Proven experience in procurement within steel fabrication.
