    Contract Litigation Attorney

    Location: Remote, CA (California Bar Required)

    Salary: $75 to $85 per hour

    Position Type: Full-Time, Contract, Remote

    LHH is working for a reputable firm in seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contract Litigation Attorney to join in a remote capacity. As a Contract Litigation Attorney, you will play a crucial role in managing discovery processes and providing legal expertise in cases involving mass torts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of law firm experience, with a strong background in discovery management, and be a member of the California Bar.

    Responsibilities:

    • Discovery Management: Oversee and manage the discovery process, including document review, production, and coordination with internal and external teams.
    • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and provide well-reasoned legal opinions and strategies to support the litigation process.
    • Mass Torts Experience: Utilize expertise in mass torts to navigate complex legal issues and contribute to the development of case strategies.
    • Case Preparation: Assist in case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
    • Adherence to Deadlines: Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to court deadlines.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an accredited law school.
    • Active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
    • Minimum of five years of law firm experience, with a focus on litigation.
    • Proven experience in discovery management.
    • Experience with mass torts is a significant advantage.
    • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
