Shift: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM; Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation

WHAT WILL YOU DO
- The selected candidate will be responsible for various tasks such as preparing gross specimens, embedding tissues, processing tissue specimens, cutting tissues, and performing all required stains, including immunoperoxidase. These activities contribute essential data regarding tissue and organ functions, as well as the causes and progression of disease.
- Additional responsibilities involve assisting the Pathologist with specimen grossing, preparing microscopic slides, contributing to the development of novel techniques, and participating in educational initiatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Candidates must possess an Associate degree in a lab science and must have graduated from an accredited Histology Technician program.
- Fulfilling the alternative education and experience criteria outlined by the ASCP for eligibility in the HT category is also a requirement.
