    Full-Time Position

    THE BURKS COMPANIES, INC. (TBC) is looking for a dynamic Full time Shift Manager for Graveyard. Are you energetic, reliable, a team player, and can get the job done? You will need to be The Lead Cleaner helps to lead the cleaning operations at a large complex facility.

    The Post Shift Manager position directs and leads post event cleaning operations. The Post Shift Manager is responsible for delivering the highest quality services and restoring the facility to high level client standards after arena events.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensures quality and satisfaction levels are meeting and exceeding client expectations.
    • Assures the highest quality of customer satisfaction.
    • Meet with leadership team to assist with training, development, and strategic goals of Project Manager.
    • Provides guidance in safety, cleaning processes, procedures, and chemical usage to event cleaning crews.
    • Counsels crew members regarding tardiness, absenteeism, and work performance using proper documentation procedures.
    • Leads and participates in multiple team activities to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks.
    • Responsible for the running and leadership of the shift in the absence of the Project Manager.
    • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with client, arena guests, staffing company, co-workers, pre-event cleaners, security, and others.
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    • Skill in both verbal and written communication

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

    This job is physically demanding and includes but is not limited to lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and moving items weighing 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally exceeding. APM works in a stadium environment, which includes frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and squatting.


    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED?

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • At least 2 to 3 years of janitorial supervisory or leadership experience in a large complex facility/organization.
    • Ability to work varied and flexible shifts when required.
    • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
