Description

We are a successful, medium-sized mechanical engineering company located in the Rhein-Sieg district.

With our developed, produced, and distributed products, which are used in over 50 industries worldwide, we are one of the leading providers of fastening technology internationally.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring delivery capability, costs, and quality
Optimizing inventory of purchased parts in terms of costs and availability
Creating inquiries and comparing offers, as well as conducting price and value analyses for the aggregate product group
Searching for potential new suppliers in national and international procurement markets
Planning and conducting negotiation of conditions
Coordinating supplier complaints in cooperation with quality assurance
Supplier development
Maintaining purchasing data in the ERP system

Qualifications:

Completed commercial training with advanced technical understanding
Professional experience in purchasing and supplier development preferred
Ideally, knowledge of manufacturing technology
Sense of responsibility and teamwork
Confident demeanor and organizational skills
Proficient in ERP systems, preferably with Pro Alpha, and good MS Office skills
Willingness to travel
Very good German (min. B2 GER) and good English skills
