The HR Operational Coordinator will provide administrative support to Entertainment Complex management and employees in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager and Director of Human Resources to ensure action on and sustainability of Human Resources initiatives.


Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Serve as a point of contact and act as a liaison between other functional areas of Human Resources and the Entertainment Complex operations for employees regarding human resources policy/procedure direction and counsel. Provide guidance to employees and direct them to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Support the Manager and Director in employee relations duties and other administrative duties including but not limited to scheduling meetings, drafting documents, and preparing material for investigations.
  • Partner with operations to process reasonable accommodations, including leading the interactive process with employees and following through with proper documentation.
  • Partner with benefits administration in processing personal leaves of absence. Gather necessary paperwork and communicate needs and expectations with employees.
  • Assist in the continuing employment process (return of eligible summer seasonal staff) for the Entertainment Complex operations.
  • Produce reports from the HRIS system as needed.
  • Support special staffing initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Must be 18 years old or older on the date of applying
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.


  • Industry Experience

  • Hospitality/Tourism


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Business Administration, Human Resources, Other
  • Relevant work experience can be substituted for education 6 years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Must have excellent verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and be selfmotivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times
  • Must be proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time, along with proven organizational skills
  • Ability to safeguard confidential information.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fastpaced highpressure environment
  • Must be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills, teamfocused with the ability to interact with and build relationships with all levels of staff and management
  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of computers (including general Office Suite and Google Workspace programs)
