- Manage the forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management for assigned customers.
- Manage and report on inventory levels (on-hand and in-transit), forecast trends, excess/aged inventory items and other supply chain related topics.
- Work closely with Sales Account Manager(s) to ensure accurate sku level forecasts for major customers.
- Key Communicator with Sales and Customer Operations team members in regards to stock availability and timing across product lines.
- Develop communicate useful analysis as part of the Sales Operations Planning (S OP) process.
- Provide critical operational support for specific customers as assigned (forecast, stock allocation, customer specific metrics etc).
- Develop analytics-based reports and presentations for Sr. Management.
- Perform supply chain activities related to the annual budget process, as well as quarterly and monthly forecasting process.
- Work closely with cross-functional team members (Sales, Customer Operations, Marketing etc) on day-to-day issues, and assigned projects, as needed.
- Manage/Coordinate forecasts supply planning activities with Omron corporate and factory-based supply chain teams, primarily in Asia. Collaborate with HQ in Japan and peers in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
- Update ERP system information (item costs, transfer prices etc) on periodic basis.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Science, or Math
- Supply Chain Management preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of customer and item forecasting and demand planning processes.
- Familiarity and exposure to full supply chain processes
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with Supply Chain/Forecasting systems.
