Your tasks

  • Development of innovative fastening products
  • Responsibility for the entire product development cycle from concept phase to market launch
  • 3D modeling, design, and drawing creation of products using Autodesk Inventor
  • Creation of technical specifications for product development and evaluation of manufacturing and part costs
  • Coordination of development processes with purchasing and potential suppliers up to series production
  • Continuous improvement and cost optimization of products introduced to the market (technical series support)
  • Conducting internal tests and supervising external testing facilities to determine product performance data
  • Approval of initial samples
  • Accompanying technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers
  • Supporting product approvals and audits (e.g. VdS, FM, DNV)
  • Advising departments on product or production-related issues

    • Your profile

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, precision engineering, design engineering, or qualification as a technician
  • Practical experience in project management and development
  • First professional experience in product development in a manufacturing company, preferably in the field of fastening technology / metal processing (punching/bending parts) desirable
  • Very good German and good English skills in spoken
