We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a fun and supportive team in their quality department.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The Quality Inspector is tasked with conducting inspections across various stages of the manufacturing process, including but not limited to areas such as Shipping & Receiving, Calibration, In-Process, and Final Inspections, as well as Customer-Specific Over-Inspections.
  • Execute final evaluations of manufacturing products with the aid of diverse precision measurement tools.
  • Engage in the operation and programming of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
  • Participate in the generation, finalization, and submission of documents related to the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
  • Guarantee compliance of manufactured components with all client specifications by completing thorough inspection plans/reports and properly handling any nonconforming items identified during inspections.
  • Support "overinspection" tasks as needed, working closely with the shipping department and adhering to the master schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace in alignment with 5S principles before, during, and after the designated shift.

Skills/Qualifications:


  • Completion of high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent educational attainment is necessary.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a manufacturing setting, specifically in a role focused on quality, is highly desirable.
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), height gauges, etc.
  • Must be able to follow instructions accurately, both written and verbal.

Pay:
$19-$20/hr


Work Hours:
Day Shift, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
