Role and Responsibilities

  • Identifying and repairing malfunctions and damages, as well as performing maintenance and upkeep on electrical/electronic systems in the energy and building technology field in Huachuca City
  • Assisting with electrical installation and commissioning for investment projects
  • Documenting maintenance and repair work in SAP
  • Creating and maintaining maintenance schedules
  • Conducting equipment and system inspections (e.g. according to DGUV V3, VDE, etc.) after repairs and new installations, as well as potential repeat inspections
  • Determining parts needed and arranging for or carrying out parts procurement

Education and Experience

  • Successfully completed training in electronics, energy and building technology, or a comparable field
  • Preferably several years of professional experience in the energy and building technology field
  • Electrical specialist according to VDE105-100
  • Experience with network technology and IP telephony preferred
  • KNX/EIB knowledge a plus
  • Proficient in all common MS Office applications; SAP knowledge a plus
  • Willingness to work 2 shifts if needed, as well as on-call duty
  • Independent, responsible, and service-oriented work ethic
