Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience Required
- Must be a former SEAL, SWCC, EOD, Diver, or AIRR who served in various leadership and operational positions in their community while on active duty.
- Must be technically qualified to perform all job responsibilities
- Work history must contain experience directly related job responsibilities
Job Objective
Compensation:
Pay rates competitive and based on experience and skill sets. Housing costs will be provided by the client.
Length of Requirement: 1 year with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Must maintain a professional appearance while actively briefing Warrior Challenge programs.
- Must be an effective communicator, both verbally and written
- Must maintain an exemplary degree of physical fitness.
- Must administer the Physical Screening Test (PST) to all applicants and maintain a level of fitness to inspire applicants by meeting the height/weight requirements set forth in OPNAVINST 6110.1H (Physical Readiness Program).
- Must possess the ability to demonstrate and explain all points of performance for exercises in the PST.
- Must have either be retired or have left respective community in good standing with a minimum of an Honorable Discharge.
- Must convey a professional and physically fit demeanor at all times.
- Must effectively communicate through proactive mentorship and leadership skills developed while on active duty.
- Must demonstrate adequate scheduling flexibility to accommodate NRD requirements related to testing, mentoring and attending recruiting events
- May require more than 40 hours work per week, and does require extensive travel
Education & Certification
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license throughout period of contract.
Work Location
For each National Recruiting District (NRD), the Mentor may live anywhere within the selected NRD, but will be responsible for travel to the location of the NRD headquarters
NRDs include:
Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Miami, Michigan, Minneapolis, Nashville, New England, New Orleans, New York, Ohio, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Raleigh, Richmond, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St.
Louis, RTC, and CNRC.Must be prepared to travel to the GCC and NSWC in order to ensure all training standards are relevant and up to date.
