The position of a Chemical-Technical Assistant / Chemical Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) is available at the Institute of Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry at Georg-August University in Göttingen, starting on September 1st, 2023 (or by agreement).


Your tasks:
As a member of Prof. Dr.

Konrad Koszinowski's research group, you will have a diverse range of tasks at the interface of research and laboratory management.

These include working on organic and organometallic molecule synthesis, maintaining and operating technical and analytical equipment, and supporting the group with laboratory organization and safe working practices.

You may also assist with the technical supervision of practical courses in undergraduate teaching (especially in the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Chemistry as a major or minor subject).

Your profile:

  • A successfully completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or CTA with professional experience and solid knowledge of chemical laboratory methods and instrumental analysis is required for this position.
  • Practical experience in operating technically demanding analytical equipment (GC, MS, glovebox) would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet) is required.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is expected.
  • You are selfmotivated and have a structured way of working.
