About the Role:


The Warehouse Team Lead role at the South Beloit, IL location s upports the assembling and loading of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Work closely with Production and Quality departments to ensure all orders are filled promptly, completely and accurately. Support a safety focus and accountability to company policies among all warehouse employees. Support the warehouse inventory control function efforts under the supervision of the warehouse Manager.

You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:


  • Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment food manufacturing a plus
  • The ability to work overtime and weekends
  • Responsible for ensuring all work is defined and executed to meet employee safety, food safety, food quality, GMPs, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and direct Warehouse Associates to assemble, load and ship customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Monitor order accuracy, productivity levels and general maintenance of the Warehouse
  • Review daily shipment schedule and plans and prioritize work schedules to meet customer and company delivery requirements.
  • Provide leadership with regard to following company policies/procedures.
  • Ensure that all company safety policies are followed.
  • Conduct safety inspections, tool box talks and safety observations as requested.
  • Maintain all Warehouse standards including but not limited to SQF, OSHA and Sanitation.
  • Conduct physical inventories as needed. Work with inventory control on cycle counts.
  • Responsible for reporting Food Safety and Food Quality problems to the appropriate personnel, as well as, following quality and safety programs, and policies/procedures in order to ensure product is made of the highest standards possible.
  • Uphold and maintain First In, First out (FIFO) inventory methodology for all shipments.
  • Uphold and maintain defined Receiving, Loading, Unloading, and Finished Goods Putaway processes.
  • Create and maintain daily dock schedules for delivery and outbound shipments
  • Verify Finished Goods manifests and pair with Bills of Lading (BOLs).
  • Provide raw material labels.
  • Provide Pick Sheets for production schedules.
  • Maintain pallet accuracy and provide feedback via suppliers' websites.
  • Utilize DSI scanners for inventory accuracy.

Important Details:
This is a full-time permanent role on 3rd shift, which operates from 10:30p.m. to 7:00a.m. Monday through Friday with flexibility to work some Saturdays.


About You:


You'll fit right in if you have:

  • Minimum HS diploma, Associated degree a plus and/or work experience equivalent.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift, ability to walk, sit, bent, stoop, reach, climb and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Working knowledge of JDE, SAP, BluJay programs and Microsoft Office Suite software a plus.
