Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 3 years of Accounting experience, preferably in Hospitality Industry

General Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage
_FHG_'s finances and financial portfolio. - Champion of
_FHG_'s finances, financial reporting procedures, regulatory compliance and record keeping. - Maintaining the general ledger, cash flow analysis, reviewing financial statements, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits, budgeting processes, and reconciliations.
- Ensure the proper, timely and accurate compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Report and pay monthly/quarterly/yearly taxes for hotel portfolio
Primary Functions:
- Assist Financial Controller with timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support the development of
_FHG_'s annual Business Plan and the budget process. - Support the development, and track financial results, of annual Business Plans and budgets for each managed hotel and entity.
- Ensure performance of daily accounting functions and activities at corporate and at each
_FHG_ managed hotel. - Publish the proper and accurate Financial Statements for each hotel/operational entity and
_FHG_ within five (5) days of the end of each accounting period. - Review daily banking and cash position of each
FHG managed hotel and ensure accuracy. - Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with monthly close processes.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Report to Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes.
- Cross train with AP specialist to act as backup.
- Conduct a financial audit (internal) at each
_FHG_ managed hotel at least once every quarter (4 times per year).
