The Role

We are looking for an Account Opening Squad Leader who will blend business, technical and operational expertise with a passion for delivering results. As the product owner you are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the squad mission, strategy, and tactical execution associated with delivering on strategic priorities.

In an Agile structure, you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions, roadmaps and resource requirements, set and refine the mission, and bring together a team of chapter members to execute on specific product features and ensure respective products or services are available, stable, performant, and supported when required and related cost and maintenance is managed. You will ensure alignment on the u201Cwhatu201D, "why" and u201Cwhenu201D work is to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog.

You will enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation, and learn from failures while celebrating success. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role. In addition, your responsibilities include:

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Anticipating, discovering through ongoing interaction with, and prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as their voice and guide execution of the team

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Defining, evaluating, and communicating results against acceptance criteria

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Inspecting and evaluating progress

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Measuring performance against established objectives and KPI s that deliver on agreed upon business, technology, and people results

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Collaborating and coordinating with Chapter Leaders and Scrum Masters to build squad capacity and capability and enabling squad member growth, development, and learning

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Tightly coordinating with other Squads within Product Area to determine strategic priorities that may require Account Opening squad engagement and support.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 10+ years of relevant product development work experience

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Securities Industry Essentials Exam and Series 99 license required within 120 days of hire

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Proven ability to engage senior business leaders, architects, Product Area leaders and identify efficiencies in approaches that help meet firm objectives.

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Experience designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic products and solutions

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered

u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Grasp sophisticated product features and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria and optimally communicate these (20%)
