    Job Description

    Floating Director of Nursing (DON)

    Centers Health Care is in search of a Floating DON to join our corporate clinical team. The selected individual will have the opportunity to rotate across different facilities in Upstate New York.

    Extensive Traveling is a Requirement

    Responsibilities:
    • Direct supervision of all nursing staff
    • Establishing and enforcing nursing policies and procedures
    • Managing the recruitment and retention of nursing personnel
    • Ensuring adequate staffing levels and up-to-date skills of the team
    • Oversight of nursing staff behavior and performance
    • Staying informed about facility incidents
    • Evaluating the health requirements of each resident
    Qualifications:
    • Current RN license in New York State
    • At least 5 years of experience in long-term care
    • Minimum of 2 years in DON role
    • Demonstrated proficiency in supervision and leadership
