Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent.

As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants in finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process.

Responsibilities:

• Screen applicants by verifying their income, employment history, rental references, and conducting background checks
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure collection of rental payments and deposits from tenants
• Address tenant concerns and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and tenant interactions

Experience:

• Previous experience in legal administrative or property management roles is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse individuals
• Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor
• Proficient in data entry
• Ability to negotiate lease terms and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
• Familiarity with property maintenance procedures is beneficial
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws
