- Responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic tests on patients of all ages.
- Responsible for rooming patient and taking patient history such as reason for visit, medication, medical history and visual acuity.
- Position will cross train in a variety of specialties within ophthalmology.
- Position will assist ophthalmologists with patient exams and procedures.
- Positive, patient focused attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be dependable, a team player, able to multi-task effectively, and provide excellent customer service
- Prefer graduate of a medical assisting, surgical technology program or related field, current LPN or CNA license, or equivalent ophthalmology experience
- Medication Aide licensure
- We provide on the job training and time to complete your Medication Aide certification

We are looking for candidates for our Ophthalmic Technician position who are patient focused, possess a positive attitude and have a passion for the medical field. This position is eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus
