At Caritasverband für den Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis e.V., a forward-thinking welfare association of the Catholic Church, we combine social commitment with economic action and are looking for innovative individuals with an interest in a role in the social sector. With around 500 full-time and 400 volunteer employees, we work in the fields of aging, care, family, youth, social counseling, migration, and participation/community psychiatry.

For our county-wide Social Psychiatric Service (SpDi), we are looking for the following starting as soon as possible:

Diploma Social Pedagogues (m/f/d) or Special Needs Caregivers (w/m/d) or Psychiatric Nurses (w/m/d) in full-time or part-time

Your responsibilities at SpDi:

Counseling and support for mentally ill individuals and their families through counseling sessions and home visits when needed

Assistance with daily life tasks

Crisis intervention

Support with contacts to authorities and agencies

Counseling for difficulties in the social environment, such as with family, friends, neighbors, or the workplace

Referral to further support services

Cooperation and coordination with support systems
