    Control Systems Engineer (Entry/Experienced)

    THE ROLE:



    Maintain and enhance the control systems of the Louisville ASRC plant for Michelin in a fast-paced environment. This position is pivotal in ensuring the high quality and value of products delivered to customers.     Located near the Ohio River on the outskirts of Louisville, KY, the American Synthetic Rubber Company offers a vibrant work atmosphere, dedicated employees, and numerous avenues for growth.



    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Manage the Process Control System as well as the Drying Control System
    • Implement control configurations, develop interfaces, and support projects
    • Oversee system administration and ensure compliance with security protocols
    • Lead projects to upgrade plant control systems
    • Provide support for engineering projects and process enhancements
    • Collaborate with contractors and maintenance teams
    • Conduct troubleshooting and offer technical support
    • Develop and deliver training sessions
    • Maintain system documentation
    • Communicate effectively with various departments for timely support

    REQUIREMENTS:


    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Experience in automation or controls engineering
    • Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HMI's
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
    • AutoCAD familiarity is a bonus
    • Experience in instrumentation is advantageous
