    Who We Are Looking For

    We are looking for a highly skilled test automation engineer to design automation tests. Test automation engineer's duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. You should also be committed to developing skills in order to provide up-to-date solutions.

    Uniquely, this position will have access to the code to fix problems and enhance the product stack to drive Cobalt Iron's products.

    We need our engineers to be versatile, provide leadership, and be excited to tackle new problems across the full-stack as we push products and move the industry forward.

    This is a full-time, salary exempt, remote (US based) position. Up to 10% travel to company HQ.
    Primary Responsibilities

    Write, design, and execute automation tests
    Design and develop automation components/modules using appropriate tools and programming languages
    Build full-stack test automation solutions
    Review user stories and create test cases, test scripts and test suites before execution
    Log and document issues discovered during testing and provide support during issue resolution
    Assist in ensuring that testing best practices and policies are followed during the development lifecycle
    Review and make recommendations for testing approaches, methods, and activities
    Support test automation solution planning and estimation
    Leverage best practices and available automation frameworks to reduce automation maintenance
    Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for testing processes
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related field or equivalent experience.
    2+ years of experience in automation testing, including planning, test executing, and analysis
    Experience with stress, reliability, security and performance testing and tools
    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
    Highly accurate and detail-oriented
    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience using multiple automation tools, such as Siesta, Selenium, and Playwright
    Strong knowledge of using CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins and TeamCity
